Role:
- To assist in the administration of a portfolio of Trust accounts by working closely with the Head of Trust Administration and Senior Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- The Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing full sets of trust financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and file trust account tax returns and GST returns.
- Ensuring compliance with trust agreements, implementing regulatory guidelines, recording receipts and payments including distribution, and maintaining trust records.
- To assist with the on-boarding of new clients and obtain the requisite AML/KYC documentation.
- To assist in drafting trust documents such as trust resolutions and letters of wishes.
- To assist in the Asset (s) transfer into the Trust setup, including opening bank accounts.
- To liaise with intermediaries relating to the trust structures such as lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, and bankers, when necessary.
- To undertake a Periodic Review of Trusts and Estates under administration.
- Attending client queries, coordinating trust account activities, carrying out trustee functions, and properly documenting the account files.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
Skills and qualifications:
- A good Diploma or Degree in Accountancy
- Proficient in MS tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong team player and possess a positive attitude
- Conscientious, with good attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Independent and positive working attitude

Role:
- The Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting in ensuring that the operations of BMT comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- He/she will report to the Head of Compliance and work closely with other stakeholders to implement and monitor compliance programs within BMT.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s compliance procedures are current and effective. - Assist in maintaining records of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in identifying compliance risks within the organization and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate those risks.
- Perform due diligence, including AML, KYC, negative news and sanction screening through World-Check and other online platforms on new and existing relationships.
- Provide support to Head of Compliance in implementing compliance initiatives, responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies, and managing compliance-related projects.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations and frontline, to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance across the organization.
Skills and qualifications:
- A Diploma or equivalent qualification in law, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant compliance experience.
- Good knowledge of MAS regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to trust business.
- Proficient in MS tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong team player and possess a positive attitude.
- Conscientious, with good attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Role:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of Trust accounts, reporting to the Head of Trust Administration
Responsibilities:
- To assist with the on-boarding of new clients and obtain the requisite AML/KYC documentation, review of Source of Funds & Source of Wealth information.
- To assist in drafting trust documents such as trust resolutions and letter of wishes.
- To assist in the Asset(s) transfer into the Trust setup, including opening bank accounts.
- To assist in the collection of earnings, dividends or sale of assets, placement of proceeds in the Trust account.
- To liaise with intermediaries relating to the trust structures such as lawyers, tax advisors and bankers when necessary.
- To assist in the direct distribution of funds to Beneficiaries, in accordance with the Trust Deed.
- To undertake Periodic Review of Trust and Estates under administration.
- To manage and administer the existing book of trust clients and develop the relationship by providing exemplary services.
- To attend any risks derived from annual reviews on the trust structures.
- Perform any other ad hoc assignments.
- To raise awareness to management of any AML or KYC issues relating to our existing trust structures promptly
Skills and qualifications:
- 2- 4 years of proven Trust and Company administration experience
- Relevant Degree/ Diploma holder (Accounting preferred)
- STEP qualified or part qualified /pursuing
- Clear track record of ability to garner client’s confidence & understands the needs of clients when structuring a Trust setup.
- Team-player with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Conscientious, with good attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Independent and positive working attitude
Key performance indicators:
- No overdue of periodic reviews of the trust cases being assigned to
- Reply to client’s requests or queries promptly within 2 working days
- Ensure vigilance & awareness of KYC/AML procedures
- Timely new client onboarding with the compliance department
