Trust Services
Trusts are set up pursuant to clients’ needs and requirements. Some of the more common requirements and objectives
in setting up trusts are as follows:

  • Maintenance, Advancement &/or Educational Trusts for Minors;
    To ensure that the client’s young family members are financially well maintained and funds are available to
    provide for the care, maintenance, advancement and education of the young family members. Such trusts
    can also be structured to cater for the physically or mentally challenged individual.

    To settle in trust life insurance policy/policies to protect against creditor claims and safeguard funds for the
    benefit of the beneficiaries of the policy/policies.

    To mitigate tax liabilities through a Singapore wealth management trust.
  • Muslim Trusts;
    Trust planning for the Muslim clients to achieve equitable and just distribution of wealth.
  • Singapore Private Trust Companies;
    To set up Private Trust Company/Companies managed and owned by client’s family members to manage the
    family wealth as an alternative to a traditional trust with the services of a licensed trust corporation undertaking
    due compliance issues as required under the Trust Regulations.

    To set aside funds in a trust to assist the less fortunate members of society.
